Need a realtor in Redwood City or San Carlos area? The consider going straight to the source! There are many services out there claiming to assist you in finding the right realtor. There's a realtor around every corner of San Mateo open house, ask a friend (they probably have three relatives that are realtors), do a web search for real estate agents in Redwood City or San Carlos, but don't depend on a service to find you one. Many of these services will want 25-50% of a realtor's commission for the referral.
Why not find the realtor yourself and ask for the savings? I don't like the idea of an entire industry constructed around siphoning someone else's pay - more middlemen don't benefit anyone other then themselves. In addition, it's typically the more desperate agents that participate in these services. We're not a rare commodity in the Bay Area, nobody needs help finding one of us!
