New Rule – anyone making a statement on Television has to be hooked up to electrodes and if more then 1 Million viewers press the “BS” button on their remotes, the speaker gets a good jolt of electricity!
I am so sick of being treated like an idiot by people going on TV and making statements that assume the audience are total idiots. I usually save these comments for the politicians, but this time I am aiming it at Sea World Parks and Entertainment President Jim Atchison. He went on Television to talk about the death of the trainer by the killer whale. Despite a reporter asking about what is going to be done with the killer whale after the three deaths it caused, Mr. Atchison almost acted like the other deaths never happened. He then stated that the circumstances were very different and that we should not look at them collectively.
Let us assume someone shoots a person during a bank robbery, then shoots their landlord, and then decides to shoot their spouse and all three victims die. I should not deduce that this serial killer has any propensity towards violence? These are all different circumstances, the killer had a different relationship with all three of the victims, but killed them all with the same weapon. No connection to be made here? Face it, you have a problem with that specific whale and yet you’re going back to business as usual? |
